Miss Smith's Adventures
Dear parent/guardian,
On 1st April this year Miss Smith will be taking on an incredible challenge in the name of Rosehill Junior School to raise money for the development of our school site. She will be completing a 14 night trek to Everest Base Camp in Nepal! This means she will be hiking an average of 6 hours each day at a high altitude.
Some of you might have noticed her out at lunchtime in training with her weighted vest, trying to make sure she is ready for what is undoubtedly a massive physical challenge so, if you see her around school, please give her some encouragement…
Miss Smith has also set up a Crowdfunding page to raise money to extend the outdoor provision for our pupils here at Rosehill. We are hoping to put the money towards the installation of a sizable (all weather surfaced) games area for the children to enjoy not only at break times but also to enhance our outdoor PE offer…
If anyone is able to donate or would like to find out more about her expedition then please visit her fundraising page by clicking here. Feel free to promote this in your workplaces or anywhere you like as all the money will go towards your children.
Good luck Miss Smith, we know you can do it!
Yours sincerely,
Adrian Hayes
