Christmas Carol Service - 14th December

Dear Parents / Carers,

Happy 1st of December! We are excited to announce that on Wednesday 14th December we are holding a Christmas Carol Service in school and will be running two sittings for parents who wish to attend. Doors will open at 1:45 for the first performance in the afternoon which will begin at 2:00pm and finish for 3.00pm in line with the normal school day. Children will leave school as normal from their normal classroom doors. The second performance will be in the evening with children arriving and doors opening at 5:15 for a 5.30pm to 6.30pm performance. Again, children will leave from their normal classroom exits and can be collected from there. This will be a fabulous festive carol service and we hope that you will be able to come and watch the children perform and sing together.

Please read the following information carefully as we aim to issue tickets in the fairest possible way. As usual, due to health and safety considerations, there is a limit to the amount of people we can accommodate for each performance which is taking place in our main hall within school.

There will be two performances in order to allow those people who find it difficult to get time off work the chance to attend in the evening. As there is usually more demand for the evening, please consider attending in the afternoon if you can possibly do so, we want to cater for everybody if we can.

We are organising tickets on the following basis:

● Tickets are £1 each and are limited to two tickets per family and will be on sale at Reception on 7th, 8th and 9th December.

● Any spare tickets will be available to buy on a first come first serve basis on 12th and 13th December.

● As there is normally a large demand for tickets, especially for the evening concert I would advise you to purchase them as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

I hope you will be able to support school by ensuring that your child attends for the evening performance on Wednesday 14th December. We would like children to report to their class at 5.15pm to get ready for the 5:30pm start. The concert lasts approximately 60 minutes so they will be ready to be met by their usual classroom exits at around 6:30 pm.

Whilst we would like all children to be collected, if you intend for your child to walk home at 6.30pm on their own, you MUST inform school of your wishes in advance otherwise we will be unable to release your child. Likewise, if you intend your child to walk home with another family, you must inform school of this in advance.

Yours sincerely,

Adrian Hayes
