After the recent parent/carer meeting school can now confirm the following information regarding the Y6 residential visit to Herd Farm, which is near Leeds;

- Miss Bruce’s class will go on Monday 21st November 2022 and return on Wednesday 23rd November 2022.

- Mrs. Downing’s class will go on Wednesday 23rd November 2022 and return on Friday 25th November 2022.

The total cost per pupil is £112, however if your child receives Pupil Premium funding their cost will be £75 as school will be subsidising the remaining amount. In order to secure a place for your child on the residential visit,  you must pay a deposit of £20 via SchoolMoney by Friday 7th October.

Arrangements for payment of the remaining balance are flexible. Payment may be made in a lump sum or in smaller instalments, with the remaining balance to be paid in full by Monday 14th November 2022.

All of the exciting activities which the children will be involved in during their visit are all included into the cost.  Each child will need to take a packed lunch from home on their day of departure. All children will receive an evening meal on their arrival day, followed by breakfast, lunch and evening meal on the middle day and finally, breakfast and lunch on their return home day. These meals are provided by Herd Farm’s catering department and are included in the cost.

The manager from Herd Farm will be coming into school to visit the Y6 classes on Monday 3rd October for the afternoon. He will then hold a parent/carer meeting in school, on the same day, at 5.30pm which you are invited to attend. There will be further information given out at that meeting and it will be your opportunity to ask questions directly to the manager.
