Spring Term - Week 2 - Weekly Update
The children have had a great 1st week back and started the new term with positivity and determination - well done everyone ! 

Notices:

• Polite reminder for parents/carers that meet the teacher is this week and the Y3 days are Tuesday and Wednesday. If you haven't already done so please book an appoitnment through Arbor or contact school directly if you have any issues. 
• All children need their PE kit Thursdays this week.
• All children need their library books on Wednesday, please with reading journals. Reading journals should be in school everyday along with a water bottle. 
• In Design and Technology we will be tasting a variety of different breads. If your child has any allergies or intolerences could you please contact school before lunchtime on Monday 26th February. 

This week's learning:
- In Maths, we will be continuing our unit on multiplication and division and starting to look at fractions. 
- In English, we will be continuing to look at different poetry types.

- In Reading, we will be analysing a non-fiction text on famous landmarks in the UK and around the world. 

- In PSHE, we are looking at keeping our bodies healthy and are starting early and being very presumptious about protecting our eyes from the sun. 
- In Geography, we will be exploring more Famous Landmarks around the world.
- In RE, we will continue looking at the religion Hinduism.

- In Design technology, we will be starting our new Food unit. Please keep your eyes out for emails from your child's class teacher around allergies and taste testing.
