We've had an excellent first week in Year 4. We've been really impressed with the children's attitude to their learning and to all the new things we have started learning about.

- In maths, we have looked at place value demonstrating an ability to partition numbers up to 1000. 

- In English, we have been investigating the features of a character description as well as recapping our knowledge of nouns and adjectives.

- In reading, we have researched facts about Ted Hughes.

- In PE, we have practised our passing skills in netball.

- In computing, we have found out what the Internet is and in Spanish, we have practised 5 key phonemes ahead of starting our 'Presenting Myself' unit next week.
