📢 Welcome Back Year 6! 🎉


This week, we’ve hit the ground running:

✍️ Writing – We’ve been publishing our narratives based on Pig Heart Boy, showcasing some incredible creativity and storytelling.

➗ Maths – Our algebra journey continues! We’ve explored substitution and forming equations, developing our problem-solving skills.

🔬 Science – We’ve begun learning about how living things are classified—lots of fascinating discoveries ahead!

🌍 Geography – We’ve compared the physical features of Great Britain and the USA, looking at similarities and differences in landscapes.

📚 World Book Day – Thursday 7th March!
We’re looking forward to celebrating our love of reading next Thursday for World Book Day! As part of the celebrations, we will be walking down to the infant school to listen to younger children read—a great opportunity for Year 6 to be reading role models. More details to follow soon!
