What a great week we've had this week!

Another good result for Y5M, who completed a clean sweep of the TT rockstars awards with Maria in 3rd, Priyenthen in 2nd and Max W in 1st place this week.

Y5M regained their hold on the attendance trophy, winning for the 3rd time this year.

We enjoyed a lovely end to the week with the children dressing as superheroes or in children in need themed outfits.

Notices:

Children are welcome to dress up as rock stars on Monday as we launch the TT rockstars competition which is lasting all week.

The children need their P.E. kits on Monday and Thursday next week, although we do ask them to be in school all week if possible. Earrings should be removed before school on both days please. Outdoor P.E. kits are advised for Monday if the weather is nice enough.

All children need their library books on Wednesday.

Next week's learning:
- In maths, we will continue our unit on fractions.
- In English, we will start a new unit on non-fiction texts.
- In reading, we will continue focusing on non-fiction texts.
- In geography, we will be continuing our unit on 'Tectonic plates, Earthquakes and Volcanoes'.
- In music, we will continue our unit looking at 'Living on a prayer'.
- In science, we will continue our work on forces. 
- In P.E. we will continue our units on netball and gymnastics
- In D+T, we will start constructing our bird hide models.
- In PSHE, we will look at bullying.
