What a great week we've had to finish the half term!

Our dominance of school-wide competitions continued with Max Wordsworth collecting the most coins on TTrockstars out of everyone in school. We also had Priyenthen taking 2nd place and only narrowly missed out on 3rd spot too!

Notices:

The Hallowe'en school disco will take place on Wednesday 6th November. The children are invited to dress up in their outfits throughout the day as long as a contribution of £1 is made and then the upper phase disco will run from 5:00pm - 6:15pm.

The children need their P.E. kits on Monday and Thursday on the first week back, although we do ask them to be in school all week if possible. Earrings should be removed before school on both days please.

All children need their library books on Wednesday.

Next week's learning:
- In maths, we will continue formal multiplication and division.
- In English, we will begin to write our own character descriptions.
- In reading, we will start focusing on non-fiction texts.
- In geography, we will be continuing our unit on 'Tectonic plates, Earthquakes and Volcanoes'.
- In music, we will continue our new unit looking at 'Living on a prayer'.
- In science, we will start a new unit focussing on forces.
- In P.E. we will start two brand-new units of work.
