What a great week we've had to start the new half term!

Another good result for Y5, who had Max W collect the second most coins in school on TTrockstars for the week.

We enjoyed a wonderful Halloween disco with the Y5 children donning some excellent costumes on the day.

Notices:

There will be a special remembrance assembly on Monday.

Children are encouraged to wear odd socks on Tuesday as part of anti-bullying week.

The children will have their second 'Tech She Can' lesson on Wednesday.

The children need their P.E. kits on Monday and Thursday next week, although we do ask them to be in school all week if possible. Earrings should be removed before school on both days please.

All children need their library books on Wednesday.

Next week's learning:
- In maths, we will start a new unit on fractions.
- In English, we will finish writing our own character descriptions.
- In reading, we will start focusing on non-fiction texts.
- In geography, we will be continuing our unit on 'Tectonic plates, Earthquakes and Volcanoes'.
- In music, we will continue our unit looking at 'Living on a prayer'.
- In science, we will have our second 'Tech She Can' science/technology lesson.
- In P.E. we will continue our units on netball and gymnastics
- In D+T, we will explore joining structures.
- In PSHE, we will look at bullying.
