Electrical insulators and conductors

This week we have looked at electrical insulators and conductors.

This week we have learnt all about what makes an effective electrical conductor. We learnt how to build our own working electrical circuits and can now identify the key components of this. We looked at various materials and tested their electrical conductivity, finding the best conductor to power the brightest possible light bulbs.

The children really enjoyed this experiment whilst showcasing their problem-solving, observation and teamwork skills.
