Well for those who are following. Our resilient beans that managed to survive have now grown into young plants. They have developed a sarcastic streak, begun listening to music, and expressed a preference for painting their pots black. While they are not fully grown yet, they are no longer tiny shoots. We are gradually giving them more freedom, allowing them to be out on their own during the day but requiring them to return home by a certain time. We are still keeping a close watch on the pots that haven't sprouted, just in case any of them decide to take a little longer to emerge from their sleep.
