End of Spring 2 Week 4 Message and Updates

The weeks seem to be flying by! We've had a great week this week with lots of active learning. 

Notices:

All children need their PE kits for Monday and Wednesday. 

All children need their library books on Thursday, along with reading journals.

Mrs Goodinson's class sadly said goodbye to Miss Rothwell this week. We have loved Miss Rothwell's teaching and support of the children's learning. We wish her every success on her next teaching placement and in her journey to becoming a qualified teacher.

Next week is our end-of-spring term assessments, and we will assess children in their Reading, SPaG and Maths. 

Next week's learning:

As well as end-of-spring term assessments... 
- In Maths, we will continue our perimeter and area unit.
- In English, we will be delving into scrutinising more biographies.

- In Reading, we will be analysing non-fiction texts on Mountains.

- In Science, we will continue our Earth and Space unit.
- In Geography, we continue to learn about mountains and global biomes.
- In PSHE, we will continue learning about healthy lifestyles.

- In Design Technology, we will be continuing our topic on Food.

- In RE, we will continue to learn about the 5 pillars of Islam.
