As part of our product research in our new Design & Technology unit, Y5 has tasted a variety of soups. The soups were:

Minestrone

Leek & Potato

Mushroom

Carrot & Coriander 

Chicken Noodle

We had to rate and describe each soup's appearance, smell, taste, and texture. In Mrs Goodinson's class, the whole class data showed that Minestrone was the favourite and Mushroom was the least favourite. It also gave children some ideas for their own soup design!
