Geography - How are countries connected?
Today we studied how different countries in the world are connected.
We started our lesson by linking back to our previous lesson and explaining why the life expectancy of the population is increasing.
We learnt a little about Brexit and how this has had an impact on the amount of trade the UK and China have with each other.
We then used our atlas skills to focus in on China and think about which countries share a border with it before discussing the importance of good relations with neighbouring countries.
We finished our lesson by looking at where the UK imports different foods from and exploring why we need to do this.
