Clay Sculptures
In art, our Y6 children have learned about local sculptor Barbara Hepworth - her work and her unique style. They have also created their own clay scultures in the style of this artist too. Take a walk through our mini exhibition!
The children's sculptures are the end product of a series of art lessons, where the children learned about the artist Barbara Hepworth and her art, (see knowledge organiser attached) sketched and designed their own sculptures - linking them to significant people in their history project, practicing clay technqiues leading up to creating and evaluating their own scuptures.
