End of Autumn Half Term Message and Updates

END OF HALF TERM MESSAGE:
We can't believe half-term is here already! The children have had a fantastic first half-term in Year 5 with some incredible learning taking place.  

UPDATES:

All children need their PE kits for Monday and Wednesday. 

All children need their library books on Thursday, please.

Wednesday 1st November - Halloween after-school discos. Y5/6 - 5:00 pm - 6:15 pm (£1 payment on the door). 

FIRST WEEK BACK:
- In Maths, we will be starting our new unit for multiplication and division.
- In English, we will be finishing writing our letter.
- In Reading, we will be analysing non-fiction texts based on earthquakes and volcanoes.

- In Science, we will be ending our unit of properties of materials before starting our new unit (forces).
- In Geography, we are starting our new unit of tectonic plates, earthquakes and volcanoes.
- In PSHE, we are starting our new unit of 'me and my relationships.'
- In PE, we are starting our new sport of 'basketball'.

- In Design Technology, we will be starting our new unit of 'frame structures'.
